Fashion & Beauty Trends That Took Over The Grammy’s
The 2021 Grammy Awards took place last month and with COVID19 still being prominent and restrictions still in place it was a very different celebration to the normally huge, star studded event. Streaming across the world the event still was able to deliver huge names and performances at the event such as Beyonce, Dua Lipa and Harry Styles.
Beyonce broke world records by being the highest female receiving Grammy nominations and winning an impressive 28 awards including her time as part of the girl band Destiny's Child. In attendance at this year's awards Beyonce accepted the award with Megan Thee Stallion for their collaboration on the Tiktok viral song ‘Savage’.
Amongst the jaw dropping performances and well deserved recognition awards the Grammy’s did not fail on bringing us our ultimate fashion fix. Here are a few of our top picks and trends that sparked our interest at this year's Grammy event.
Beyonce - starting with Queen B herself! Beyonce Knowles never fails when it comes to her fashion, the trend setting superstar is bringing back the leather mini dress and we are here for it. Beyoncé’s stylist, Zerina Akers, paired the black off-the-shoulder Schiaparelli leather mini dress with sheer stockings and black and gold drop statement earrings which matched her 2 Grammys of the night perfectly.
This pop of gold trend is something we love here at Hot Ombré Cosmetics. Our brand new Smoke & Glow Palette has the most pigmented, stunning gold shade ‘Sizzlin’ which will help you recreate and be inspired by Beyonce’s look by adding that pop of gold on the eye. If you are looking for a more subtle way to add some shimmer, Hot Ombré Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick in shade ‘Naked Sunset’ is our first ever metallic shade liquid lipstick and will keep you shining all night with zero transfer.
Harry Styles - always one to make a fashion statement this year at the Grammy’s Harry Styles styled a lilac suit with matching feather bower - yes you heard us right a feather bower. Already the face of many memes this look will definitely not be forgotten.
Want to keep on trend with the pastel colour inspiration? Hot Ombré Cosmetics Smoke & Glow Palette shades ‘Sugar Rush’ and ‘Lit’ is the perfect way to add some pastels into your makeup look.
Dua Lipa - as one of the performers at this year's Grammy Awards, Dua Lipa had various outfit changes throughout the night. Our favourite however has to be the stunning mesh/sequin cut out gown she wore for the red carpet.
